New Installations (Pre- & Post-Construction)
For any commercial project, before you commit to a construction contract for a new project, we advise you to commission a due diligence study in some form by an independent specialist. This will give investors reassurance that the PV system is likely to operate as expected.
For solar parks and similarly large projects, this will be an in-depth investigation appropriate to the scale of the investment, but for a smaller commercial project a simpler review may be indicated. CEE's engineers have experience of providing these services to investment companies before they complete purchases, and we will tailor our review to meet your needs
Existing Installation Checks & Pre-Sales Review
If you are buying an installation (or portfolio of installations) from a third party which has already been constructed, you, or your investors, there is in theory less risk than a commissioning a new construction. However, you will still need to verify that what you are buying meets the contract specifications and your required standard of quality.
In addition to the New Installation review, we would recommend:
Expert Witness
Fortunately, the number of solar projects that end in a court case is very small. However, we have considerable experience in solar PV and as an independent consulting practice our engineers can prepare expert witness reports & statements where required.
